Privacy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This site belongs to me, Mariia Velt (Masha Welt), a private individual based in Belgrade, Serbia. It collects as little as possible: only what you choose to send me, so I can reply.
Who is responsible for your data
Mariia Velt (Masha Welt), Belgrade, Serbia. For anything about your data, write to hello@mashawelt.com.
What I collect
- The Expo 2027 request form: your email (required), and if you fill them in, your name, company or delegation, rough dates and a few lines about what you need.
- When you write to me directly by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or LinkedIn: whatever you put in your message. Those services also handle your data under their own privacy policies.
I don’t ask for sensitive data. Please don’t send it through the form.
Why, and on what basis
I use your details only to reply to your request, discuss the project and, if we agree, prepare an offer and work together. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering the people who contact me. I don’t use your details for newsletters or advertising, and I never sell them.
Who else handles it
- Hosting and the request form: Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this site and receives and stores the requests sent through the form. Their servers may briefly record technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Email: Namecheap, Inc. (USA) forwards mail sent to hello@mashawelt.com to Google (Gmail), where my inbox lives.
Netlify, Namecheap and Google may store data outside Serbia, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
I keep your request and our correspondence for e.g. up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete it. If we work together, project documents are kept for as long as the law requires for contracts and accounting.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn’t use cookies, tracking or analytics.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or hand it over in a usable format. You can also object to its use or withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to hello@mashawelt.com. I’ll reply within 30 days.
If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs), or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
